Breedlove is a well known boutique guitar company that produces some of the world's best and most popular acoustic guitars. For several years, the company also built-to-order spectacular electric guitars but never figured out how to compete in that market. I first tried them at a NAMM show and then I traveled to their manufacturing facility in Bend Oregon to check out their build process before I purchased a few.

Every aspect of this Breedlove Mark I is top-of-the-line. The wood selection, hand craftsmanship, hardware, fit-and-finish, and tone are all spectacular. It was built to my specifications and it is one of my absolute favorite guitars. Besides being jaw-droppingly beautiful, the Mark I is extremely versatile. It has a chambered body that can get very, very warm. It also has split coils that can be accessed with a pull knob on the tone control making it equally useable for almost any music from rock to jazz.

This Mark I is in showroom condition. It has never been rented or demoed. I haven't played it more than 20 hours since I've had it and I am the original buyer. It has far less playing time on it than it wood if it were hanging in a Guitar Center, so you are essnetially getting a new guitar at a price far less than the $5,300 retail price.
