About Guitars not Guns

Guitars not Guns (GnG) is a tax exempt 501 (c) 3 children’s charity; we are not anti-gun; we are anti-gun violence. Nationally we have been serving at-risk and underprivileged youth since 2000. We are a community-based organization that provides these youth a positive alternative to the self-destructive behaviors of substance abuse, truancy, crime, and gangs. Through GnG's guitar programs, students receive beginning and intermediate guitar instruction from experienced teachers. Each student is provided a guitar at the beginning of the course, and students who pass the rigorous test are permitted to keep their guitar.
