Nova Drive  MIDI Y Cable for G System

A special MIDI 'Y' cable is necessary to enjoy full integration between the Nova Drive and the G System. There are three options for the MIDI 'Y' cable.

  1. You can purchase a MIDI Y cable from TC Electronic. This cable is included with all new G Systems, but is available as a separate item.

  2. You can purchase our Custom Whirlwind MIDI Y cable. This is a longer version than the TC cable and it is made from superior components. It is 36 inches long and the split is at the 18 inch position.

  3. You can build your own Nova Drive MIDI Y cable using the TC Electronic spec shown below. If you go this route, pay particular attention to the ground shells are NOT connected. If you make a mistake here, you will get the dreaded "Ping of Death" beeping noise.
