Brazen Fantasy Caleb Quaye Signature Guitars
Caleb Quaye is a rock guitar legend. Best known for his work in the 60’s and 70’s, Caleb spent 10 years with the Elton John Band, and played for other icons such as Mick Jagger, Pete Townshend, Paul McCartney and Hall and Oates. Many, many other well known bands benefited by Caleb’s virtuosity in the studio.

Brazen’s Caleb Quaye model Fantasy series guitar is an absolute tone monster. It is an incredibly versatile instrument. It is absolutely one of the best playing and warmest guitars in our inventory. Before we tell you about it, check out Caleb playing it at his March 2010 release party for his new CD "Out of the Blue."

Its warmth comes frm its 1-piece Brazilian Patagonian rosewood neck and matching Brazilian Patagonian rosewood fingerboard. The body is mahogany with a 5/8” AAAA grade flame maple top.

The Fantasy is a near perfect combination of Stratocaster, Telecaster, and Les Paul. It sports Seymour Duncan Cool Rails in the bridge and middle positions, and a Seymour Duncan Jazz in the neck position. Flexibility is improved with a 5-way Strat-style pickup selector and a mini switch that splits the coil on the neck pickup.

If your looking for Brazilian rosewood warmth that will sing, squeal and roar, you should enjoy playing this instrument.

Note that the Brazen Caleb Quaye Signature Guitar qualifies for the Guitar Affair Demo Program.

Why you want to rent this guitar...

If you are a fan of high quality guitars and boutique instruments, you will enjoy this guitar very much. Playing this instrument, it is incredibly difficult to believe that it is an import, but Brazen puts a lot of hours into setting the guitar up perfectly once it hits the states. The result is a professional quality guitar that performs flawlessly. Trying this instrument out will teach you a lot about what you do and don’t like in a high end guitar.

The neck is solid rosewood with a very light coat of satin finish. It offers a very unique and smooth feel that may just alter your image of a great playing neck. Similarly, the pickup configuration is one of the most unique on the market. Two Cool Rails in the bridge and middle positions, and a Jazz in the neck position. Caleb and Brazen were really thinking outside the box when they put this together and the results are awesome.

Give this guitar a try the next time you are looking for a unique high-end instrument.

Why you should own one of these guitars...

If you’re in the market for a high-end guitar, but you’re looking for something different from the common Gibson, Fender, and PRS offerings, the Brazen Caleb Quaye should definitely be considered. This guitar has the superior feel and playability of a PRS, but with a much better setup, and the natural feel of the neck is as good as, or better than, any PRS we’ve tried. Unless you are a real Gibson or Fender fan, very few instruments from these companies can compete with the quality, playability, and sound of the Caleb Quay model Brazen.

Flexibility is also a key feature of this guitar. With the three humbuckers, a five-way switch, and a coil tap on the neck pickup, this instrument offers a tremendous range of sounds. I can perform equally well in rock, jazz, blues, country and other genres.

And remember that the Caleb Quaye model is part of the Guitar Affair demo program. Try one out through our rental program. We’ll ship it to your door for you to try with your own equipment in the comfort of your own home. If you decide to purchase through us, we will refund your rental fee on the demo unit.

TESTIMONIALS

The Caleb Quaye Brazen is an utterly phenomenal instrument.  I'm starting to save for one immediately.  It plays as nice as any PRS, Gibson or Fender I've ever played and the tone is incredible.
