Ed Roman Pearlcaster
Ed Roman is arguably one of the most controversial players in the guitar industry. No matter what you think about Ed, it’s hard to argue with his aggressively pushing the envelope. This Pearlcaster is a fantastic representative of some of the best qualities of Roman hand-made guitars. The finish is stunning. The tone and playabilty are superb. The 1500G finish process on the neck produces all of the neck feel of a raw neck, without the horrendous maintenance issues.

Fender Stratocaster players will find this instrument to be a great alternative over the classic Strat which corrects many of the common complaints with Strats.

Here are the specs for this Ed Roman Pearlcaster:
Body: Swamp ash
Top: Flamed maple
Neck: Hard rock maple
Construction: Bolt-on (Roman all-access neck joint)
Fingerboard: Hard rock maple
Tuners Sperzel locking
Bridge Roman tremolo
Controls: 1 volume; 2 tone (push-pull tone control split bridge pickup); 5-way switch
Pickups: Seymour Duncan mini humbucker (bridge), single coils (neck & middle)

Why you want to rent this guitar...

Most guitarists have never had an opportunity to try a Roman Pearlcaster, so this guitar is an education for many players, giving them an opportunity to try a different style of neck joint, a neck finished using the 1500G (gunstock) process, and Seymour Duncan pickups in a Strat-style guitar.

Purchasing the Roman Pearlcaster

While we think this is one of the best playing strats in our inventory, we would consider selling this instrument as a used guitar to a lucky buyer. Contact us for more info.

TESTIMONIALS

I've read a lot of bad things about Roman guitars but this thing is killer.  Definitely one of the best strats I've played.
