It’s hard to find a guitar with more “mojo” than this one. Billy Gibbons worked closely with Gretsch and the late Bo Diddley to create a 21st century version of Bo’s famous Jupiter Thunderbird that was originally designed in 1959. The Billy-Bo is much more than a cool looking axe. This guitar plays great, and the T.V. Jones pickups produce fantastic tones for blues and rock. If you’re looking to try something completely different, the Billy-Bo is a great choice.
The Billy-Bo features a heavily chambered mahogany body, one-piece mahogany neck, ultra-thin laminate maple top, and TV Jones Power’Tron (neck) and Power’Tron “Plus” (bridge) pickups. The neck is relatively thin and has a very smooth feel. The tone of this instrument is surprisingly vintage for such a modern looking guitar. The action is set fairly aggressive making the Billy-Bo perfect for blues-rock and rock.

This guitar looks like it might be a gimmick, but it is actually a great playing and sounding instrument. It's a super cool guitar to try for a week and it will open your mind for future guitar purchases. I will definitely expand your horizons.
Sorry, but this guitar is not available for purchase. We do not represent Gretsch guitars and finding another one that plays this great is something we do not want to tackle.
