This Bluesmaster IV is equipped with an ash, semi-hollow body and a single piece hardrock maple neck. The bridge pickup is a custom wound single coil pickup that is also coil tapped allowing the player to cut the pickup output by approximately 25% with the push-pull tone knob. In full power mode, the pickup has a great punchy sound that gives great bright lead tones. In tapped mode, the pickup offers a clean, bright sound for music such as country and surf. The neck pickup is a custom wound P90 that provides thick, creamy tones for blues, blues rock and country blues. Roll the volume and tone knob back a bit and you have a super mellow, clean rythym pickup.
