Companies like Saint Blues threaten to turn the guitar market on its head.
Why???? It’s because they are producing phenomenal guitars at ridiculously low price points. The Bluescaster IV is a very moderately priced instrument that can easily serve a professional. We first saw the Bluescaster IV at the 2008 Summer NAMM Show when Eric Gales got on stage with one and simply blew the audience away. His tone was unbelievable and we were left wondering whether Eric was playing a one-off version or if Saint Blues snuck a custom version past us. But, once we got our hands on some of these, we realized that our suspicions were unfounded. They are great guitars; and from a value perspective, they are one of the best deals in the industry.
This Bluescaster IV is equipped with an ash contoured body and a single piece hardrock maple neck with a maple fretboard. The custom wound humbucker and single coil pickups offer great flexibility and tone. St. Blues even thought to split the coils on the humbucker to provide true single coil tones. The guitar is very versatile and sounds great on blues, country, and rock. Clear singing clean tones and thick crunch are equally managed by the Bluescaster IV.
If you are worried that a limited budget means you can’t have a professional level guitar, worry no more. The Bluescaster IV is a superior alternative to common brands.
Note that the St. Blues Bluescaster qualifies for the Guitar Affair Demo Program.
