This USA handmade 61 South, like its brothers in the Workshop Series, this hand-crafted 61 South is an amazing guitar that easily competes with Fender Custom Shop and other professional level guitars at a much lower price. It's playability is as great as any guitar in our inventory, including PRS and Breedlove. This particular guitar is equipped with a Jason Lollar P90 in the neck position and single coil in the bridge position. The 61 South is also incredibly flexible and can run the spectrum from screaming twang to mellow blues. The Lollar pickups also put out enough power to achieve a very nice blues-rock crunch.
This 61 South sports a semi-hollow mahogany body, a maple neck, a stunning dark cherry burst nitro-cellulose finish, and top-quality nickel hardware to complete the vintage vibe. For a hand-crafted guitar of this quality and craftsmanship, we would certainly expect a price tag of at least a thousand dollars higher.
